My old stomping grounds
Just did an interview about the novel this week with reporter Karlee Kapler at the Fairview Post. It was fun to be on the other end of the interview stick for a change!

Pandemic book club pick
My first novel, Small Reckonings, was released just a couple of short weeks ago. We’ve been offering free delivery to Saskatoon buyers, and a 20 per cent discount to book clubs for bulk orders. We popped over to one book club buyer this afternoon to pick up a cheque, and it was wonderful to see this in her mailbox. My little one-pound babies all waiting to be claimed by their new owners. Here’s what this book club member said about the novel she “couldn’t put down”:
Amazing, in these times, how holding a book, is so important. We all can download, read on line, but this morning, holding your book, it was so much more engaging.

This, too.

Our world lately
When you add up the moments, there’s been lots to do even though it doesn’t feel much like normal. It’s important to capture a visual reminder of what we’re going through, how we’re helping each other, our families and neighbours. We’re making history. And we’re also making more snowpeople than I’ve seen in years! Stay well, stay safe, stay connected.
It’s here
I’m a stepmother of three so I’m just guessing this is what it feels like when the doctor or nurse puts the baby in your arms after a long, undignified sweaty bout of grunting and pushing? Boxes containing my novel–my first novel–arrived today and Rick braved the virusy cardboard and wiped everything down so we could go in for a look. We opened the small box and put the big ones in quarantine in the garage.
