Ahh, pig therapy

Some people go to the spa for a special bit of pampering, to get nails done or have a hot stone massage to relax. I like to go visit my buddy Hamlet. Stale marshmallows and a couple of 2015 Halloween candy bars can really solidify a relationship. Thanks as always to Marilyn and Rick Omer for letting me have a little pig time!

Mayor Charlie

We are so energized having been part of positive democracy in action. Rick worked with the campaign from the start, and on election night we all ran around to get the vote out. That one woman we threw in our car to get her to the polling station paid off! And the after party soon turned into a victory celebration at Amigos. We are just beginning to get our hearing back. What a night. Congratulations to Charlie, Sarah, and his well organized, intensely focused and perpetually positive team. We met some great people, and what a diverse cross section of the city. Check out the poster that hung in the campaign office all these weeks – that’s what City Hall is going to look like. Happy to have been part of it.

uh oh, dig out your woolies

AccuWeather predicts temperatures this winter colder than the 30-year average. That cold will sneak in soon (that’s us under that nice Arctic Blasts label); January and February will be the coldest (about 4 degrees below normal), and winter might just stick around until April.  At least it’s a ‘drier than normal cold.’

Cuba, anyone?
